Introduction on LMS a Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) activities in Agricultural and Construction equipment industries  15
Development of Vehicle simulators for Fuel Consumption and Energy Management with dedicated working cycles (DLG Power-Mix, Y-cycle, JCMAS H020:2007 …) 45
Support to the control development and validation process : Multi-level modeling to support MIL-SIL-HIL  45
Design of the vehicle subsystems involved in performance, consumption, mechanical comfort and thermal comfort: Variable
·         Engine: pre-design for new concept analysis (not carry-over projects), acceleration of the control development and validation process  45
·         After-treatment: from functional modeling for transient working cycle analysis to pollutant conversion estimation  
·         Fuel injection: from detailed component design to system integration (controllability, noise&vibration, thermal constraints)   
·         Cooling and Lube: complete engine thermal management, from heat release generation to heat exchanger staking   
·         Hydraulic systems and Transmission:  performance and energy consumption of the transmission and the hydraulic actuation system, considering also the mechanical structure, model preparation process for Real-Time simulation   
·         Energy recovery systems: examples of various optimization technology (hydraulic hybrid with energy recovery, exhaust heat recovery, Organic Rankine Cycle…)  
·         Chassis systems: dynamic performance of steering, braking and suspension systems, design of active control systems, integration with the vehicle for ride & handling and safety  
·         Electrical systems: optimization of the electric power management and estimation of the transient behavior (including alternator, battery, loads, wire and electric motors, electric devices thermal management)
